The Glory Days

What happened to the glory days
Of ‘Hello, Goodbye’ and tea,
When three of us would partake
In mischief, madness and glee?
What happened to the glory days
And long chats through the night,
And knowing who knew what,
And where to get a light?
What happened to the glory days
And singing random songs,
The ones that came to mind
No matter how short or long?
What happened is unspeakable, but
The glory days are gone.
